Riyadh: A young Syrian woman was caught driving a car and listening to music in the province of Asir.

The 24-year-old woman who lives in Abha, was driving the Toyota Hilux, in the company of her family members, reported Almarsd.

A citizen spotted her sitting behind the steering wheel and alerted the traffic police officers who arrested her and referred her to the authorities.

The woman was later released and handed over to her family after signing an undertaking not to flout the Saudi laws which ban women from driving.
